Why am I interested in meeting a Nam vet? I'm 59 and a widow of a vet. I've had several friends who were vets and have found them to be real and down to earth as am I. I've been solo for many years. I recently retired from my position as a substance abuse counselor due to burn out. I'm still attractive for my age, am 5'6 and 135 lbs. I enjoy working out and am of a creative nature. I'm quiet but a good listener. I love the outdoors. I'm more of a giver than a taker which has caused problems for me in the past because I have a good heart. Now at 59 I feel that I am no longer willing to be taken for any more rides and am a much better judge of character. My life experiences have made me a strong woman. I'm Native American and Irish. I don't use alcohol but I do smoke. I love a man with a sense of humor and still enjoy classic rock.
